"I Don't Understand How To Maximize The Efficiency Of Hatching Eggs (very detailed inside)"

#PokemonGO: So.. I want to hatch eggs as efficient as possible, just like anyone else. I know that research has been done, but I have tried the methods and haven't gotten any good/consistent results.I have driven my car at about 5/6 mph and gotten somewhere around 0.6 km (in the 4 minute period when the egg distance updates), but I don't want to play like that. I used to go on walks and I remember getting around 0.25 km every 4 minutes, so I assume if i jogged, I can get 0.6 km (or more?) and hatch eggs much faster OR if I take a different route, it would count my distance.A few questions I am confused about:Is egg distance calculated every 15 seconds or every minute?What is the maximum distance (in meters or km) I should walk/jog in the time given above?I've heard that 175 meters every minute is the maximum, but maybe that is wrong because I have tried that and gotten no egg distance?
