"[PSA] People with app crashing issue - set your buddy pokemon to a proper one before forced update"

#PokemonGO: After latest update for android (0.55.0) many people (including myself) started to have an issue with game crashing after tapping on character portrait (see badges, change buddy, customize avatar etc.). The outcome for now is that said people can't change buddy pokemon on current client version. To change it, we have to revert to previous client version (0.53.2) from ApkMirror.The best part is we need to set our buddy pokemon right now, because in few days Niantic can force update and playing on older client will be impossible.tl;dr: Uninstall 0.55, download and install 0.53.2, change you buddy to desired and hope that Niantic will fix this issue in next update via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2kJYTaJ
