"PSA: Low on Pokemon Storage? Transfer ALL EXCESS now during the event (you can always replenish later!)"

#PokemonGO: Storage maintenance is a priority for most all Trainers. Regardless if you are at the 1000 Pokemon Storage level, or still in the 300's.With this event giving you 2x Candy on transfers, seriously consider reducing your Pokemon count to your absolute minimum needed. You have double the incentive to get rid of low IV, bad moveset, dupes, and low CP rares.I did a cleanup similar to this during the Halloween event and it allowed me to gain back a huge amount of storage. In the months since I have gained most of those 'Mon back, with better IV's and CP's in most every instance. Chances are the next time a 2x Candy situation occurs you'll have caught even better 'Mon (or possibly even Gen 2).Lastly, unless you are hurting for space, use these 'Mon as Prestigers or Battlers one last time before transferring. I personally use all transfer fodder 500+ CP and above. It has allowed me to grow my Max Revive stash to 218 and my Max Potion stash to 215.TL;DR: Be ruthless with your transfers. Double Candy is a extraordinary reward to free up more storage space. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2kPDRXx
