"Chansey vs. Larvitar as Buddy?"

#PokemonGO: I am almost done walking my 98% chansey far enough to evolve it (~1.5 months for 28 candies), and without powering up my blissey will have 2400 CP. In order to power it up to my current level (2800 CP), I would need to walk it for at least two more months. In my area I am pretty much the only Instict player that will actively turn gyms, and I haven't seen an Instinct gym get past level three in months. Because of this, I'm not worried about my blissey blocking prestigers from my team, I just want it to be able to last more than a day before I have to go take out 3 level 4+ gyms to collect my 30 coins. On the other hand, one of the last Kanto Pokemon I got was dragonite, and that took 60km of walking to do. So far it seems that larvitar are much more rare for me than dratini, so part of me wants to get a head start on my tyranitar.I don't really care about being the best at gyms or anything, I just want to catch 'em all™. In that case, is it better to walk my chansey in the hopes of getting a free incubator every two weeks, or is it more worth it to make larvitar my buddy? Thanks! via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2n28IPp
