"[discussion] Spoofing is NOT just rural players who want more access to stops, gyms, etc."

#PokemonGO: I have seen many discussions on here that most spoofers are simply rural players who don't have easy access to resources in the game. While I don't condone or agree with anyone that spoofs, I can certainly empathize with the person who's closest stop is 30 minutes away. With that said, I don't believe rurals are the issue. Case in point, my good friend had stopped playing for about four months, but now came back to playing and is spoofing. We both live in a suburb with tons of spawns, nests, gyms, and stops. Within a 5-10 minute drive there are probably over 100 stops, and 20 or so gyms, yet he still spoofs. Not only does he spoof to Japan, Santa Monica, and other places, he also spoofs to, and places in gyms that he can see from his house. It is a real pain too because I will knock him out ASAP, but I have to waste resources to do so which he doesn't seem to understand. He doesn't take me out of gyms, but is helping other people (several who are also spoofing) build up local gyms to points they have never been.So I know that is one story, but I had been hearing a lot about how spoofers are unfortunate rural players, and while some are, I would guess most are just simply people too lazy to play the game correctly. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2mkHne6
