"[Research] Niantic Customer Service"

#PokemonGO: Over the past 4 months, I've reported the same spoofer 6+ occasions (along with a few additional customer service submissions). I've been at the gym in teh middle of nowhere, and seen this trainer attack the gym, drop their pokemon, and train the gym -- even though there is no other human being within 100 feet of this location. ARGGGG!!!Anyway, I was curious why Niantic still hasn't banned this user... so I decided to see how many customer service tickets is Niantic receiving on average.DateTicket #11/4/16232174XX11/19/16233671XX1/8/17238371XX1/10/17238503XX1/21/17239142XX1/24/17239374XX1/26/17239586XX3/10/17243682XX3/17/17244152XX3/19/17244304XXNote: I've cloaked the last 2 digits for the ticket number with "XX".On average, Niantic receives around 9,000 customer service requests per day. I believe that a trained agent could respond to around 150 - 200 legit customer service requests per day. So I guess it is not that surprising that they don't respond to the majority of the trouble tickets because they would probably require at least 50 trained help desk agents.Niantic independently corroborating accusations of spoofing are probably some of the most time-consuming/challenging requests... which is why Niantic has seemingly punted on the spoofing situation. (unfortunately for us, by not taking any action against spoofers creates a more cumbersome issue into the future since spoofers tell their friends, who then begin to spoof too, who then tell their friends, and so on and so forth.)tldr; Niantic receives almost 10,000 customer service requests EVERY DAY! via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2nIC6u7
