#PokemonGO: Today, Gyms feels like you are fighting against your own team. Nothing is more disappointing that taking down an enemy level 10 gym by yourself, prestige up the new Gym to make it stronger for your team. Only to find out the next day that your own team removed you from the Gym, and you're no longer benefiting from that level 10 tower that is only there because of you.We know the rework is supposed to bring more cooperation, but a lot of people have expressed concerns that could mean solo players wouldn't be able to participate.But that's easy to solve. Cooperation can be asynchronous, not requiring players to participate at the same time.One easy straight forward way to do this. Would be to make it so that anyone who ever helped build a gym, would benefit from it.Each gym could hold a list of players who helped build it. Each time you either: add a Pokémon to the gym. Or gain prestige the gym enough to level it up (2k at lower levels, 10k after 7). Then your name is added to that list. Your name will stay there, and will only be removed once the gym is wiped down to zero. Then the whole list is cleared.You'd still collect coins the same way you do today. With the same limit of 10. Except you are receiving the rewards for 10 gyms you helped build and are still standing. Not for 10 gyms that you happen to have pokémon on right now.This shouldn't be the only change in the entire gym rework. I would still like to see other things like stats normalization, bigger type effectiveness bonus, team wide benefit from friendly gyms and others. But I think this one simple suggestion would already be a one huge leap forward. It would remove several current problems, like friendly sniping and shaving, by making them meaningless and usually worthless.
