"Snorlax with Body Slam causes more disruption then simulators can identify."

#PokemonGO: I know this has been a long standing debate with simulated data vs real work experience however this is just my take based on gym battling experiences.I will say that I enjoy to battle. As with most I dont have a ton of time to dedicate to it. Recently many gyms in my area have risen to level 10 and always have the standard top 7. When I have some spare time (or want to test out a new mon) I will go to a level 10 gym and see if I can run through it once with my team of 6. This will only drop it down a level and probably end up making it stronger but I enjoy it and don't have the time or resources to sit there for a hour. That said, the gym I have been battling recently has 4 Snorlaxs (along with the other standard fare). The 1st three have Hyperbeam and the last has Body Slam. Battling HB, you can easily get into a routine with your spams and dodges...its quite easy to be honest, however once I get the BS Snorlax all comfort is tossed out. I find those Slams to come often and out of no where. I find myself on edge and will dodge often when I shouldn't, or I just don't see it coming and end up eating it. This throws off my routine and I struggle more with this move then almost any other. Sure it doesn't hit as hard as HB if you take one in the face, however you most often need to drop your phone for that to happen.Simulations can be run with different dodge strategies, however in real world application there is no simulation for panic and human anxiety which leads to error.Body Slam IMO is a much stronger defensive moveset then HB no matter what the simulators indicate. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2n1SbNK
