"You still have a 67% chance of hatching a Generation I Pokemon"

#PokemonGO: Since the launch of Generation II, it seems that most of my egg hatches are actually Generation I Pokemon. So I decided to run some quick probabilities based on the study the Silph Road did on the individual species hatch percentages.Overall the chance of your egg being a Gen I Pokemon is 67%.When given a 2K egg, there is a 77% chance that the Pokemon is from Gen I.For a 5K egg, it's a 68% chance for Generation I and 10K eggs are actually 67% from Gen II.Additional fun fact: After 218 eggs collected, there is a 50% chance that you have received a specific Pokemon from the "ultra-rare" category (i.e. Lapras, Porygon, Snorlax, etc.). After 725 eggs, that number is 90%. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2npJdKP
