"I accidentally conditioned my town to have more fun with gyms."

#PokemonGO: 99% of the time, the gyms in my town are level 10 Mystic, full of the usual Vaporeon, Dragonite, Tyranitar, Lapras. That has been it. Once in a while, Valor comes through and takes down the gyms, holds them for a day or two at the most, and then Mystic comes back and turns them back into the same boring level 10 gym. I'm Mystic, and most of the time I can't even get into my own teams gyms.Last week, Valor took down a bunch of the gyms, and myself, my daughter, my friend, and my friends son, all went out to take the gyms back. But we decided to put something different in the gyms. First gym, we mixed it up with Kabutops, Sudowoodo, Fearow and Clefable. Next gym, we decided to just all put Dittos. We continued around until all of the gyms were a mix up.The next day, Valor came and took the gyms down and put a Vaporon, Dragonite and Sandslash. Then we took them back, mixed it up again with Kabutops, Cloyster, Vileplume and Ursaring. Valor just took the gyms back, and they mixed it up completely, not a single Vaporon, Dragonite or anything else like that. It's completely random. Just looked at the other 4 gyms around me, all random Pokemon and random teams. Instinct has one gym, Mystic has 2 and Valor has one, Valor even put Hypno in their gym which is something I haven't seen since week 2.The usual "spoofer" gyms still have the usuals, but every time another team takes the spoofer gyms down they're mixing it up. I know a spoofer doesn't care about variety, they just care about showing off the best pokemon to collect coins with, but the rest of us seem to be enjoying getting to battle with something different.The only gym we have consistently held for the last little while is our Ditto gym. I figure people are leaving it because it's funny to see a gym just full of Ditto.I can't wait to go back into town later and see what else people have been putting in, because it's made the gyms way more fun! via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2p9TeNe
