"Rethinking Pogo Gyms: At Level 40, You Have Accomplished the Equivalent of 10 Level 30 Accounts."
#PokemonGO: I'm just crunching the numbers here and only play one account. However, this stat seems very odd to me, especially when it comes to battling in gyms. For instance, someone with 10 level 30 accounts will always overwhelm a single player at level 40. The CP increases that your mons receive after level 30 are greatly diminished, and very costly in terms of candy and stardust. Is there a better strategy for the future?Since Niantic plans to restructure gyms and battling in the future, I believe they should offer a battle experience that is tethered to a trainer's level. For instance, if a player is currently at level 20, they would only see and compete in gyms tiered between levels 20-25. The same gym could have multiple tiers all the way up to level 40. This way, a player would be competing with trainers of a similar level. Under this system, everyone would have a chance to battle, train, and earn coins. No one would be left behind because they came to Pogo in April of 2020 rather than in July of 2016. Future trainers would never feel like they were being smashed by all the legacy players. I believe this change would keep PoGo alive long-term. I'm interested in hearing your thoughts as well. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2pHgEWg
