"What missing feature or content surprises you the most?"

#PokemonGO: As we near the 1 year point, a few things stand out as being really surprising omissions. What are yours?1) Battling became real-time instead of turn-based, but SPEED is not a factor for pokemon. This seemed crazy on day 1, and still seems weird, especially since there's speed data for all pokemon and moves take time to happen. Why don't fast pokemon perform moves...faster...than slower pokemon? (Genuinely, if there's a good reason, I'm all ears.)2) Gyms only benefit the people in them. At the very least, I would've expected a friendly gym to act as an additional stop to its team. Or, really, any pro at all.3) Niantic introduced the excellent multi-select transfer mechanic, but didn't let you select 6 pokemon for a gym battle in the same way.4) No NPCs or other "game world" stuff. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2ppKMcB
