"All of Ursaring's moves save for Hyper Beam are SE against Tyranitar"

#PokemonGO: This is probably common knowledge for most, but Ursaring's a strong attacker against Tyranitar, who's got a bevy of weaknesses (Ground, Bug, Grass, Water, Steel, Fighting, and Fairy). Both of Ursaring's quick moves (Metal Claw and Counter) and two of its charge moves (Close Combat and Play Rough) are SE against Tyranitar. Hyper Beam gets STAB, but is weak against Tyranitar's Rock typing.Pinsir is similar in that all of its moves (Rock Smash, Bug Bite, Close Combat, and X-Scissor) except Vice Grip are SE against Tyranitar. Same goes for Azumarill (Bubble, Rock Smash, Play Rough, and Hydro Pump) with Ice Beam being the outlier. Funnily enough, due to its Water and Fairy typing, an 1181 CP Azumarill with Bubble/Play Rough can defeat a level 40 Tyranitar with Bite/Stone Edge if you only dodge specials.Yes, you can handily defeat a Tyranitar with Machamp or Vaporeon, but if you get bored of using the same offensive Pokemon over and over again, you can mix it up with these ones. We don't have much variety when it comes to gym defenders, but that doesn't have to be the case with attackers. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2rbAygh
