"How one unemployed spoofer killed a fun community of 20 casual players"

#PokemonGO: We play in the Instinct Team, and back in November we started a group chat with only 4 of us. As of now we are 20, active in a ~5km radius, and we used to have frequent meetings to train gyms up - the largest gathering we ever had was 13 at the same time :-)In the early 2017, spoofers from Instinct noticed we had stable gyms lvl 10 so they began to shave gyms and steal some places - kinda p*ssing off, but whatever we didn't mind that much.Since about a month, we now have a spoofer from an enemy team who is taking down 4-5 our of gyms at any hour every day, training them up with the bubblestrat and filling them up with Snorlaxs and Blisseys. He (she?) seems to be tracking us, and today he added 3 new gyms to his list of targets.Nowadays, whenever any of us suggests to take down some gyms, the group seems deaf. There's eventually some talking about the spoofer, we debate about whether we should do it now or later, but in the end nobody wants to waste resources on Blisseys unless we manage to be at least 4 players simultaneously. Our reports are vain, as well as our messages to the Niantic support email. Sad days. RIP bois via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2r6fOaC
