"[Idea] Option in the Nearby tracker that allows prioritization of certain species selected by the player"

#PokemonGO: From a list of all Pokemon species, one could select specific Pokemon which, if one appears in the vicinity, would be shown with priority on the Nearby list. The selected Pokemon species could also be further priority ordered by the player. For example, a player may wish to hunt magikarp for a few hours, so selects magikarp to be prioritized. Now, the Nearby list will show as many magikarps as it can, based on the number of magikarp in the vicinity, and the maximum Nearby number able to be shown of 9. If there are fewer than 9 magikarp in the vicinity, the remaining spaces would be filled using the normal Nearby algorithm. Now let's say that the player (somewhat reasonably) doesn't want to miss out on a dragonite because the Nearby list is filled with magikarp. The player can then also select dragonite, and choose for dragonite to be a "number 1 priority" species and magikarp to be a "number 2 priority" species. In this case, if a dragonite appears, regardless of how many magikarps are around, the Nearby tracker would prioritize showing the dragonite on the Nearby list. This option would improve the current Nearby tracker, as well as being useful for players who change their hunting habits regularly, and even just ensuring that a player does not miss out on a rare that is one street away but may not be shown on the current Nearby tracker.Edit 1: This could possibly be implemented only for Pokemon that you already have, and would draw parallels with the option showing a Pokemon's location in the Pokedex of the main games. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2q6UE7k
