#PokemonGO: When the Halloween event started and cut the walking distances down to a quarter of what they usually are, I was walking a Magikarp. I had about .5km towards my next candy, but when the candy distance got dropped to only .25km, I got the 2 candies that my .5km would earn during the event. In other words, the game cashed out my previously stocked up distance for discounted candies.
