"Niantic might have removed the 40-spin trick of getting out of softbans"

#PokemonGO: I saw multiple players on discord reporting that the 40-spin trick to remove softbans is no longer working. Can others confirm this? If this change is true, this will no doubt deal another blow to spoofers/snipers (but might create issues for those accidentally caught in softbans due to glitchy GPS).For people who are no familiar with this, previously, spinning a pokestop 40 times or throwing 40 pokeballs at an encounter gets rid of the softbans, and this "loophole" has been exploited by spoofers to catch pokemons all over the world without worrying about softbans.Edit: A lot more players have reported similar experience, so I'd say this change is confirmed (unless Niantic reverses it later).Edit: It seems like many of you have voiced the concern that legit players will be impacted as well. There is some chance that Niantic implements changes in the encounter mechanism soon, such as blocking the questionable encounter rather than softbanning players after the encounter (The code ENCOUNTER_BLOCKED_BY_ANTICHEAT in the latest APK mine supports this view). I guess we will find out soon. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2r3B7Gv
