"[Tip] Contrary to popular belief..."

#PokemonGO: I've seen a lot of people (mainly on the comments on Trainer Tips videos) wondering if a Pokémon who is harder to catch has better IVs. Most people would say no, and they would be correct. However, few people would say that the inverse is true: harder to catch means worse IVs. Allow me to explain...A 1000CP Pokémon with 100%IVs is level 20, while the same species Pokemon at 1000CP with 50%IVs is level 25, for example. Since catch rate is determined by level, the one with the lower IVs will be more difficult to catch.I am sure people are like me who understood everything above but just never had it presented in a way that compared the two, but now it makes total sense. I'm sure there will also be people who knew this all along and people who never heard of such a thing. This is just a helpful tip to people, so hopefully you learned something! via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2pxGyva
