"Bulbasaur is too underrated"

I love all of the Kanto starters, but since I've grown up ... All the hype goes to Charmander, or Squirtle, and Bulbasaur was always left on the back burner. People fan boy for Charizard, and Blastoise as the Gen 1 badasses. But Venusaur barely gets any respect. This is a Bulbasaur appreciation thread. I'm watching the anime right now, where Ash brings back Bulbasaur because May caught one. Ash's Bulbasaur is easily one of Ash's best Pokemon of all time, it was super loyal and sturdy - probably why he had it at least towards the end of Johto on his team.
