"Can Pokemon Go Support a PvE Endgame?"

#PokemonGO: Hello all,I read this subreddit daily and finally decided to make an account and join in on the conversations. I got into Pokemon kind of late, with my first experience being the Red Version on a Game Boy emulator a long time ago, lol. That being said, I am now 34, still a fan, but I just can't get into the gym system. My enjoyment of Pokemon Go is limited to collecting, hunting perfect IVs, and just overall leveling. My fiancé and I have done the gyms before, but the spam-tapping of your phone isn't exactly the most engaging type of battle system, and the end result is a gym that will probably be taken down within 30 minutes anyway. The time investment to make 10 cents just isn't worth it.All that aside, do any of you feel like the game could support some kind of PvE system for people that don't like the gym system? I know I've read about NPC battle towers that you could fight against as an idea, but its still the same phone tapping battle system. I know Niantic wants people to get out and that's the basis for all of their design decisions, but let's face it, most of us do our Pokemon-ing by car, bus, train, etc. I just wish I could "play" with the Pokemon I've caught/trained in some other way than this gym system.Thoughts? via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2rBzQH6
