"[Discussion] A Case for Adding Magikarp back to 2K eggs"

#PokemonGO: I don't know about y'all, but 2K eggs are pretty useless to me. At this point, there is literally nothing I need from them. Even when Gen 2 launched, with the quantity of 2K eggs I get, I burned through needing them pretty quick.Out of what's in the 2K eggs, Charizard is about the only thing that is really useful in gyms. There are several 3 Stage Evolution in 2K eggs, taking 124 candies to evolve fully.Meanwhile, Gyarados is consistently one of the top gym defenders. And he takes a whopping 400 candies to evolve - more than twice any other full-evolution for any other Pokemon chain. Now, with Shiny Magikarp being a thing, even if you don't want another Gyarados, you would probably be happy with hatching one of these. At least, happier than hatching yet another Goldeen.Of course, those of you in water biomes are thinking "dear lord no, please no more Magikarp..." - but that's what I think about both Nidorans, Oddish, Eggsecute, or, dear lord, yet another Slugma. And even if you're in a water biome, again, you'd probably be okay with hatching a Shiney Magikarp. If I could possibly get a Shiny Magikarp, while I'd still rather have 10K eggs (please... I need a Tyranitar.... you're killing me Niantic...), I'd actually be interested in watching 2Ks hatch, where as now, I just tap the screen to clear it asap, because I know I won't care one bit about whatever it is. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2rIEyVT
