"Field Types in Gyms to Increase Variety of Defenders"

#PokemonGO: I was re-watching the old Pokemon anime when I noticed something. Every gym has a battlefield that was specific to the gym itself. A good example would be Misty's Cerulean Gym where there is a large pool in the middle. Or Brock's gym littered with rocks.So what if in Pokemon go when someone is able to open up a slot in a gym (through prestige or taking down another team's gym) that slot will be given a random field type. And any pokemon with that type, either defending or attacking(will elaborate further later) will gain a bonus or a buff on their HP, ATK and DEF.For example Charlie prestiged a gym and opened up a slot. Besides the place pokemon button a message will appear showing the field that was randomly given. For this case we have a Fire Field or Lava Dome(whatever) so Charlie chose Arcanine as his defender. This Arcanine then gains the buffs. But if charlie chooses another Pokemon, let's say Blissey, it doesn't get the buffs. We can even make the effects similar to Harsh Sunlight in the main games.Now for the attacker and how they can take advantage of this. Now Charlie chose to put Blissey in the Lava Dome and left, Chuck comes along and is from an enemy team. He attacks the gym and encounters Charlie's Blissey. He used an Arcanine to take advantage of the buffs of the field. So the attacking Arcanine gains some buffs since it is fighting in a field that favors fire typing. Right now Arcanines have difficulty taking down Blisseys but because of the buffs Chuck's Arcanine demolishes Charlie's Blissey(maybe?).Another situation could be if the fields are given the same effects of weather in the main games. For this example harsh sunlight. So for example Charlie left Arcanine instead of Blissey. Chuck attacks using Vaporeon. So the field decreases the power of Water-type moves by 50% while it increases the power of Fire-type moves by 50%. Arcanine may be able to win. This is a bit OP though.
