"For the good of the game, Participating in a raid should be free. The Raid Pass should unlock the items and the ability to catch the pokemon"

#PokemonGO: Raids are the most interactive and fun part of this game right now. There is significant replayability, there is the fun of trying to take down different types of pokemon with different teams and experimenting with DPS. There is the awesomeness of helping someone else out in completing a big raid. All of this is locked behind a soft paywall though. This isn't a complaint about them making money - I have spent a good deal amount of money on this game and don't regret it one bit. But while making gyms more accessible was an awesome move, I think the paywall for entering raids is the opposite. All of my friends that play more casually just enter one raid a day and move on if possible. They would definitely play more if they could. If Raids were free, people would be playing the game more. Interacting more. Going to gyms more. It would probably lead to increased interest and revenue as well. If the raid pass actually just unlocks the ability to get rewards and catch the pokemon, people would still buy them.Limiting how much people can interact with the most unique and fun part of the game is a bad move IMO.Edit: So it's very Clear - The point is the Raid Pass is the wall for the rewards, not for the battle. you can battle all you want, but if you want the rewards, have to pay the pass. Just gives us another way to battle. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2s2h9vI
