"How do you think certain items work?"

In the Pokemon games, items are used to heal, revive, restore, repel, level, evolve, boost stats, and teach moves to our Pokemon. How do you think a trainer would use these items in a more realistic setting, if not demonstrated in the anime?Potions: Sprayed on the Pokemon's wounds to heal them. It can be sprayed multiple times wherever the Pokemon is hurt. The bottle can be recycled or thrown away when it runs out.Ether/Elixir: When a Pokemon uses a move too much, they can get worn out. These contain a nutritious medicine that is consumed by the Pokemon, giving them the energy to use the move again.Berries are simply fruit that are consumed as you would something edible.Status condition healing items are spray-type medicines, like potions.Rare Candies are like cough drops. They come in wrappers, and when eaten, level up a Pokemon by one.I personally see Revives as powdery medicine condensed into a crystal shape. It's fragile enough to have to be kept in cases. To use one, you crush it with your hand and sprinkle it onto a fainted Pokemon. Max Revives are infused with healing properties like that of Potions.Vitamins, like Protein, Zinc, and Calcium, as seen in the anime, are round pellets used like vitamins in the real world.TMs and HMs, I like to think of as discs around the size of PSP games (or UMD discs) inserted into a Pokedex, video player, or computer which plays a video that teaches a Pokemon how to use their powers to carry out a specific move.Moomoo Milk, Fresh Water, Lemonade, Lumiose Galettes and other food/drinks are, like berries, edible and are consumed like you would in the real world. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2sHtxoP
