"I don't really get the salt on Ultra Sun/Moon"
I don't really get the salt on Ultra Sun/Moon.It's better than wait for 2018/2019 for a switch main series.Regardless of they will release US/UM, the next games will still happen in 2018/2019.Gamefreak is doing this stuff for ages, Yellow, Crystal,Platinum. They are just rehash. They might be better, but the sales for this rehases are atrocious compared to the first entries. Doing two version is just for money. Nothing really significant wrong here. Also, US/UM is not BW/BW2.Gamefreak is doing this this mid-gen issue for years. Emerald was released during DS intro, BW/BW2 during 3DS. Also there were no console jumps during mid-generation. Also the new gen is still compatible with old gen cartridges. Pokemon Yellow is compatible with first gen Gameboy and Color, Crystal with Color and Advance, Emerald with Advance/SP and DS, Platinum with DS and DSi, BW/BW2 with DS/DSi and 3DS. Unfortunately, Switch don't have 3DS compatibility. The demand for Sinnoh is nowhere than the "Hoenn confirmed". It will return and be remaked, just wait it after the entry 8th Gen games on Switch.Well we could agree on something, the Direct was really bad. Giving tons of time to Pokken and just running through US/UM like it was a minor game . It killed the hype buildup lolThere are millions of 3DS consoles the compared to switch. Some casual will just buy 3ds for Pokemon. WhileSince there is already a mobile sucessor to Rumble, we wont probably get mainline Pokemon next year. A mystry dungeon entry would be a nice farewell game to the 3ds line, unless Nintendo make a sucessor to N3DS.Also it's our fault to be hyped with a rumor. How I wish it would be the older days without too much internet and weird speculations spreading on the web like fire. Pokemon Stars? Pokemon on Switch? GF just posted job hiring few months ago. I doubt they will finish a mainline/remake game before November.GF will still try to test the ground since Switch will be more dangerous field. Imagine online capabilities with paid subscription, only one screen, motion controls, and a hefty price. Even the game will demand higher price than 3ds counterpart. Pokemons is still aimed for kids, and not every kid will have switch. There will be too much considerations compared when upgrading from DS to 3DS.As I much want a new game not named Pokken on Switch and a remake of Gen 4, it is not a very good decision for GF to do it so right now. Less profit, rushed, bugs, every minor mistake on the switch will be frustrating, especially all mainline games sold hotcakes compared to rehash/sequel. They are not yet ready to dip on the new consolbe, be it financially or reputation. It's better and easier to clean a mess than to make one with the limited time given. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2seDZn7
