"Raid Pass should work like Lure Module, not Incense. I could pay 200+ coins for 'super duper pass' that allow other people to jump in and help"

#PokemonGO: tl;dr - if there would be a "super duper lure raid pass" that could be used by me to invite another local players to a single raid room to help me fight 3-4 level raids, Niantic would be getting more money from me. For now I probably won't be bothering with 3-4 level raids unless I will randomly see group of people nearby.I am living in the center of Warsaw, capital city of Poland. Today I went for whole afternoon to play POGO and did six raids total - from 20+ that were active in my vicinity. Half of raids I was doing alone and failed miserably. I love new feature but I am sad that I probably won't be able to play it much.I think today most local players went out in the morning and used up their free passes and then went home. I found some people to fight beside with later, but we all went out because it is new feature - and because of that we all spend some money on passes.I'm afraid that in few days there will be almost impossible to find people to do raid with - even in the city center, not to mention rural areas. Novelty will wore off and people won't be so keen on spending money and time (!) to have only a chance to win a raid.A chance that is based only on other random people showing up.Effect? There will be many ghost raids that no one will even bother to do in the first place (being too many raids taking place simultaneously, which is splitting community, is a different problem altogether). You can't fight most bosses solo, but you have to spend 1$ and about and hour of your time to get to the gym, wait there for f.e. half an hour and then go home - with only a small chance for some other people to show up. Most of the times there won't be such a group nearby.BUTRaid Pass is now working like Incense - player have to use it her/himself to get something. What if Raid Passes were like Lures?Imagine this: We have a raid, one player gets there, he/she uses Raid Pass and... then just he/she just wait for other players to show up. These players can jump in for free, help in fight and get their bonuses with no other resource spent apart from time.We know from last year, that Lures are luring not only Pokemon, but other people too. One player uses it and suddenly the players too are spawning like crazy. Niantic could use this mechanic to, ekhem, lure people for raids that currently are empty.I now that Niantic want to make money, but let's be realistic - most players are playing POGO without spending single dollar and for most of them it won't change. Only handful of players pay for coins and now they don't have incentive to buy raid passes - chance that someone will appear is to small, at least in center of European capital city. I dread to think about smaller cities!I personally would gladly spent 200 coins for a raid pass instead of 100... if there would be a way for other people to show up and help me get that Tyranitar. Now I can only spend 100 coins, wait for an hour, cross my fingers for other players and most of the times go home - angry at myself that I threw 1$ and 1 hour of my life away.I think Niantic is overestimating people willingness to pay for Raid Passes. Pokemon GO 3-4 level Raids in my city on day one (!) were (almost) impossible to win and it will get only worse, not better in the days to come. Making passes required from all players to do a raid is a NOGO for me."Super-duper Pass" could be another premium item apart from regular paid Raid Pass for people like me.I know that it is complex issue, but... casual players care mostly about 'mons and hardcore players more on TMs and Rare Candies. They could make distinction - free users get a chance to catch a 'mon after raid and get some revives, but only people who actually paid can get new valuable items.I am personally doing raids mostly for items... and the fun itself - but sitting on pavement for one hour waiting for anybody to show up is no fun at all. I would pay 100 coins to do a 1-2 level raid solo and then another 200+ coin to do 3-4 level raid that could attract another people to help.edit: major text fixesPS I know that people gather in groups for raids together and I envy them. Problem is, all my friends dropped POGO months ago and won't come back. Now there are too few local players left to randomly bump into each other and I failed to locate an organized group of players in last 11 months so I'm pretty sure that I won't be able to do this now. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2sDB6f2
