#PokemonGO: The hype was fantastic, the negativity was.. unsurprising. There was going to be bugs, flaws, people left out and cheaters being cheaters, I totally expected that. I just didn't expect a total implosion on the hype with everyone hating the system and rewards.That being said, totally valid points. Less coins, for those who care about coins, is rubbish. Weirdly difficult gym systems that make holding gyms tricky and unrewarding is going to be an issue. I completely see your valid points, I'd be beyond angry at losing my daily 5,000 stardust and 100 coins.Except, for me and probably many others, I'm not losing that. I'm in a totally blue dominated area and I'm one of three known Instinct players in the whole place, one of them being my partner who doesn't really like gyms. I've never had more than 10 coins, I've never been able to take down 10 Blissey strongholds (not because of level, because of motivation to even do it), and I've never seen a reward for even looking at a gym.Now I have things to work for. I have new medals, new ways of fighting, less stagnation and most of all some gym badges that reward every single gym, every single time I interact. I don't care about coins, I'd never get any anyway, I care that finally I can make an impact on the gym scene that I can track and see on a map rather than just ten minutes of 'ooh the park looks nice in yellow'.It needs tweaking, yes. You guys need your rewards for working so hard on making mega-gyms. But, however, it is not a total disaster for every player and not just a cash grab - it's genuinely an update that has made me (and many others no doubt) actually leave the house to interact with a previously inaccessible part of the game. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2sy6uMh
