"Where do YOU think the MCs Dads are?"

(Ok so again I'm a Gen 6 child so feel free to correct) The only Dad we see in game is Norman and Birch. And I've seen them get bashed for working too hard, being absent, etc. But at least they are AROUND and visible and have a role in the story. What about everyone else? What headcannons (or confirmed facts) do you guys have about the lack of father figures?I've heard theories like the Kanto protags father dying in the war. Ash being Red's father and vice versa. The Professor of a region actually being your dad and that's why you moved in the first place (why he gives you a starter/Dex).For me XY MC is a child of divorce.
