"[Strategy]How I Prepare for Legendary Raids."

#PokemonGO: I am powering up these pokemon in this order to lv30. Assumptions are based on current raid mechanics and moves from game code.Tyranitar – Bite/Stone Edge and Bite/Crunch. Stone Edge is good against all 3 legendary birds and Entei. Crunch is optimal against Mewtwo and Lugia while also being good against Mew and Celebi. Best value for your raid pass and stardust right now.Golem – Rock Throw/Stone Edge and Mud Slap/Earthquake. Rock is optimal against the gen 1 birds, Lugia and Ho-Oh. Ground takes care of Entei and Raikou.Scizor – Fury Cutter/X-Scizor. Optimal counter against Celebi and is good against Mew and Mewtwo.Gengar – Shadow Ball. Shadow Claw would be great if you have a Legacy Gengar but any quick move will do. Optimal against Mew and Lugia while also being good against Mewtwo and Celebi. Great DPS with Shadow Claw as your generalist for other Legendaries.Jolteon – Thunder Shock/Thunderbolt. Optimal against Suiccune and good against all the birds except Zapdos.Exeggutor – Bullet Seed/Solar Beam. Optimal against Suiccune and can give neutral coverage for Mewtwo, Mew and Raikou.Rhydon – Mud Slap/Earthquake. Great substitute for Ground Golem but they basically do the same thing. Most people already have a high powered one for gym defense before the update hence being a lower upgrade priority.Lapras - Frost Breath/Ice Beam or Blizzard. I like Lapras because Ice is quite good against anything with Flying and offers double resist against Articuno while also resisting Hydro Pump Lugia.Omastar – Legacy Rock Throw/Rock Slide. Basically like Rock Golem with resistance against Articuno while being hit harder Zapdos. Also has double resist vs Fire moves Ho-Oh. I ranked him last because of Legacy status although Water Gun/Hydro Pump is quite decent against Ho-Oh and Entei.These are wild Pokemon I am looking to catch at lv30 if possible.Houndoom - Snarl/Foul Play. Perfect typing against Celebi and will hit hard against the Psychic type legendaries.Sudowoodo - Rock Throw/Sone Edge or Rock Slide. Will hit as hard as Rock Golem minus the bulk.Pinsir - Fury Cutter/X-Scissor. Will hit as hard as Scizor minus the resistances.Piloswine - Avalanche. I like Piloswine against Zapdos and Electric immunity is quite good. @Zodiac5964 for pointing him out.Vileplume, Victreebell, Tangela - Grass moves only. These will be great against Suicune as your Glass Cannons with resistance to water attacks but will miss out on Exeggutor’s Psychic typing and bulk.Magneton or Lanturn - Electric moves only. Electric moves are great against the birds and Suicune though these two lack the DPS of Jolteon. Magneton offers steel typing to resist Articuno Ho-Oh and Lugia.
