"Thank you, The Silph Road. We did it! Two-man tyranitar raid(a practical breakdown)"

#PokemonGO: We were inspired by the two Japanese players who 2-manned a tyranitar raid and decided to replicate that for ourselves. After more than 10 failed attempts 2-manning a tyranitar raid, a buddy and I finally brought the spiky tyrant down. It was tough and our ultimate enemy was RNG (mostly in not lagging and the infamous infinite death loop). The team: A total of 11 maxed out machamp with iv ranging from 91 to 100 (all with 15 attack) and a 100% maxed out vaporeon. We were level 35 and 39 mystic players. The raid: Having tried all manner of movesets for tyranitar, we reckoned the two that we could try to take down would be bite/stone edge or bite/fire blast. Bite/iron tail with crunch is simply too hard to dodge and output dps was one of the highest in our experience. The one we fought and won had bite/fire blast. Conclusion: It was really down to avoiding the infinite death loop and dodging only specific charged move of tyranitar which would not result in the loop. DPS took a dip if we wasted the precious 10 to 20 seconds in the loop, therefore, we elected to dodge the first fire blast for each machamp and let the second fire blast kill off that champ. All in all it was a great challenge and I would highly recommend high level players with enough machamps to give it a try. Shoutout to Mattnval for sticking with my crazy idea of 2-manning a tyranitar raid.Thank you, Silph Road. Have been a fan of all the hard work poured in by everybody to share information on the game since day one.The image: http://ift.tt/2unLauJ via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2uWtvaB
