"[Discussion] Raid Rewards, potions might dilute the pool"

#PokemonGO: I read a comment that basically stated that some one had said rewards were given a point value. I thought this would be very easy to disprove if false. So i went and watched a few Youtube videos where they showed the rewards. Deciding on level 3 as a few people had post solo attempts at these, starting with Vapereon and but ended up finding 5 Machamps in a row.RaidLevelGolden RazzRevivesRare CandyFast TmCharge TmVapereon3128000Machamp364600Machamp3012410Machamp308610Machamp364600Machamp3312400Taking this I found the common denominator, so razz are multiples of 3, revives in 4, rare candy are in 2s and fast and charge come in groups of one. Taking this numbers and dividing the individual numbers by there respective multiple and combing those numbers. Each time it came up with 6, every time.Taking this I decided there may be something to this. So looking at some legendary fights I decided to do something similar and record the rewards.RaidLevelGolden RazzRevivesRare CandyFast TmCharge TmMoltres5351511Articuno5351521Lugia5620900This gives different multiples for some items, revives are now in 5s, candys are in 3s. Which makes sense that the game would give you more items for your points. You also seem to get 9 points total instead of the 6 from level 3 raids.I have unfortunatly only part of one legendary raid since the potion drop, but I am currently watching my local raid chat but here are my results.RaidLevelGolden RazzRevivesRare CandyFast TmCharge TmSuper PotionsLugia53531010Using the multipliers from before I only had 4 points, which would mean super potions come in groups of 2s. So it seems they do seem to dilute the pool, wheather it means less revives, notice I only got 1 point worth of revives or that you are more likely to get less of everything is still yet to be seen. They could have chances of certain items to counter this effect.tldr; Wanted to see if I could prove or disprove a hypothesis on raid rewards been given an point value and there for potions reducing possibility for "good" rewards. From primary research it could be the case.On a side note the last machamp was the only team battle and seemed to give the same number of points.edited: Accedentally added a fast tm to the first machamp. Did another raid, didn't manage to record results, may need a better system. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2vM2RSB
