"What Pokemon has stuck with you through the years, if any?"

When I first picked up Pokemon Platinum version about 9 years ago I didn't even know what a pokemon was. But after that fateful encounter I fell in love with it. My VERY FIRST pokemon EVER to enter my possesion was of course Piplup, which I named Alexander. I beat Platinum version, and kept my best friend Alexander with me the whole way. After that, every new version I would obtain I would make sure to transfer Alexander to it so I could keep adventuring with him. So he's been by my side throughout time and space for nine whole years.
