"Approaching level 40, I calculated that I've caught an average of 1.25 Pokemon per Pokestop visit."

#PokemonGO: Simply divide the number of Pokemon you've caught by the number of stops you've spun. This only works if you haven't purchased balls. The results explained some of the frustration I've had with the game. There are usually several Pokemon around each stop, but I never receive enough balls from spins to "catch them all," especially when the pokes jump, headbutt, and break out. So, I ride my bike in a circuit, spinning more stops, dumping potions and revives, just so I can catch more Pokemon. I've achieved the gold medal for gym defender, having defended nearly 15,000 hours, and I still throw away enough potions to revive 5X of what I really need.Either Niantic is unaware of this RNG imbalance, or my style of game play is vastly different from the norm, or they have intentionally set these parameters to encourage more micro transactions.TL;DR, I have spent money on the game for Raid Passes, Incubators, and storage increases. I wish Niantic would drop enough balls from stops to make daily grinding more enjoyable. 1.25 Pokemon caught per stop visit is too low, in my http://ift.tt/2xLhvNM: Thanks for the comments that gave the correct formula. My true percentage: 37,799 (Mon) - 3,247 (Eggs) - 6,117 (Evos) / 30,112 (Stops) = .94 Pokemon caught per stop visit. I'd love to see more data from other players. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2x9zAC3
