#PokemonGO: Not even a week after the last outage, and like clockwork during an event, the game took a dump and everyone, gmail users included, were unable to log in. Ten hours later, the gmail logins have been working for hours but PTC players are still SOL and there's been nary a peep from Niantic on twitter, nor /u/NianticGeorge on what's happening.For the umpteenth time, PTC players have been locked out of the game for the better part of the day, during an event. Several outages ago during the Solstice event we were told Niantic was looking into permanent solutions to this problem (ie account migration/linking) and have heard nothing on the topic since, despite the continued and frequent service outages PTC players experience.The constant communication blackout that accompanies every one of these outages is extremely frustrating and both the abject failure to communicate on the issue, as well as the actual service outages themselves are frankly unacceptable. Never mind the EX raids, never mind the events or gen 3. When will PTC players be able to have the confidence to use consumable items like Lucky Eggs or Lures, not having to wonder every single time if another service outage is going to screw them? via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2fPAAnG
