"Do we need CP anymore?"

#PokemonGO: Before CP would have a bearing on were you sat in gyms. Now it isn't very relevant. I would rather see my Pokemon's level. Like if you caught a wild 10CP pokemon, then it would say Level 1. Also I would like to see the actual Attack and Defense stats, so when I power my pokemon up I can see what really powered up instead of a rising CP and HP stat. What does everyone think about this?
