"Who misses actually hunting for rare Pokemon?"
#PokemonGO: First, I love this game. Sure it’s had its ups and downs like anything in life but overall it has given me plenty of great memories. Raids can be fun but not really my cup of tea. I would much rather walk instead of drive. Ever since the gym raids have been updated I find myself just driving from raid to raid. I miss the days when a super rare would come up on the original tracker or even the new tracker and I had to hunt that baby down. Sure you might not always get that mon but the thrill of the hunt was the highlight of the game for me. Now raids are out and it’s basically made a ton of super rares into commons. I had to grind for months with my Grimmer as a buddy. Now I can get a Muk in 2 mins from a raid. I just feel like this game has veered off from a traditional Pokémon game to a pay to play gimmick. Raids can be fun, but in moderation. When I was a Kid playing Pokémon Blue I loved the fact that the world was so large and you went from place to place and everything seemed new. Whether it was new Pokémon or uncharted land it was interesting. I didn't just open my game and battle the elite 4 a couple times a day and put my game down. I would travel, catch, battle, fish, ride my bike and explore. My point being this game is called Pokémon GO. I would like to GO explore. I don't want to just raid a once or twice a day. Also, all of these raid bosses just don't seem rare to me at all anymore. I used to be proud of certain Pokémon especially my 100% IV ones. Now if you have a 100 IV raid boss is it really something to brag about? I think not. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2wH4FhZ
