"[Discussion] Important PSA for buying a PoGo+"

#PokemonGO: Hi everyone! Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but it just happened to me, so I figured I should post. Bought my wife a PoGo+ off the shelf at a local chain yesterday (where they are not kept behind the counter). It was a gift, so I wrapped it up and she was thrilled when she unwrapped it. Took a while to get the security tape off the top, but when she opened the box IT WAS EMPTY except for the instructions so it rattled like it was full. There is no security tape on the bottom of any of the boxes, so someone just opened it and walked out the door leaving the box on the shelf for me to buy. I was able to exchange it today, but noticed that of the three they had left, only two still had the item inside. If you're not buying online from a trusted retailer, or they aren't kept behind the counter at your local shop, make sure that you have one in the box before you leave the store. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2fTE8bO
