"Gen 3 Tip: Dragon Medal"

#PokemonGO: With the (hopefully) upcoming release of Gen 3, we will finally have a few more ways to make progress to the Dragon Medal which I'm sure most of us aren't anywhere close to completing. The first two generations didn't have many ways to make progress on this medal:Gen 1, of course, just had the Dratini family which doesn't nest (except for the first two weeks of the game) and is very rare in most biomes.Gen 2 added one dragon type, Kingdra, but 125 Horsea candies and a Dragon Scale isn't exactly something that you can evolve a lot of.That brings us to Gen 3: We again get a pseudo legendary, Bagon, who is a dragon type, but they will certainly be a 10km egg, not nest, and be very rare in most biomes. Even though Bagon is the only base form that is a dragon type, we get two more who evolve into dragon types: Trapinch and Swablu, and hopefully these won't be as rare as Mareep currently is. Assuming 25 candies to evolve Trapinch into Vibrava and 50 for Swablu into Altaria, we may actually have a viable way to make progress on that daunting medal. If you Pinap every Tapinch you see, you could evolve 1/4 of the Trapinch you catch which would make progress far faster than any other currently available Pokemon.TL;DR If Trapinch and/or Swablu nest or are common in your biome, grind them like crazy to make progress on the Dragon Tamer medal after Gen 3 is released. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2fFws9d
