"Unanticipated side effect of spoofers"

#PokemonGO: Something that has been plaguing my efforts to raid recently is a side effect of spoofing I didn’t really consider before. When raids first started and the birds were the only legendaries in town, the raid groups were huge. There were times when they had to split in groups and I do not live in a big city (lower Delaware, there’s more chickens than people by a wide margin)But slowly the raid groups have begun to dissipate. Fewer and fewer showing up to even the most desirable raids. Even high level, dedicated players stopped showing up. I just assumed it was raid fatigue until someone mentioned that they all started spoofing.Instead of going out and helping the local players raid, more and more have just begun spoofing over to a populated area and having their fill. Normally I wouldn’t care but it’s effecting other people’s ability to compete. Top it off with the way EX passes are going to work and the effect is multiplied. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2xQVhJQ
