"Have you ever seen a pokemon be considered "overrated" to the point it actually becomes overhated?"
I've noticed this with a lot of these guys like Charizard and Mewtwo where I see people who say one of these guys is their favorite they're immediately "bandwagon". I get the whole overexposure thing but I feel like immediately denoting them as "bandwagon" is a bit prejudiced. Maybe there's a personal reason cuz I mean c'mon, it's kinda hard to hate your first starter. Partially brought up cuz I've always liked Pikachu, despite never being a big fan of the anime. Overexposure and all that yeah yeah, but the little guy stuck with me all throughout Pokemon Yellow, and I remember going through a whole lotta trouble in Fire Red to get a Light Ball to make it stronger w/o evolving to keep the tradition. He just sorta stuck with me wherever, even somehow being the first pokemon card i ever got. First iv bred and first shiny too (ev training in power plant in FR). Guy was a lotta firsts for me. Also ik i said i didn't watch the anime much, but my first experience with pokemon as a whole was watching pikachu shock a helicopter outta the sky when I was four in that butterfree episode. That's when I sorta began liking it so Ig kinda cliche for that, but eh, whatcha gonna do. Anyways, what do you all think? via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2jYtUs2
