I've seen the backlash over Star Wars Battlefront 2, locking famous and treasured characters behind ridiculous paywalls and dividing the playerbase with the argument that unrealistic goals are something to be encouraged.It makes me glad that the guys at GAME FREAK are still creating nostalgic and fun Pokemon games where everything is available at a one time price.Because GAME FREAK know that charging ridiculous prices to obtain certain Pokemon is not the way to please your players and promote a franchise.How would you react if Pokemon were to follow a lootbox style of progression in the future? Are you also thankful that this is not a trait in mainline Pokemon?I think it is important to remember that while GAME FREAK have their flaws, they are doing something right.
