#PokemonGO: I know there's plenty of salt (and I hear you, believe me), but let's try and discuss this calmly and rationally.Niantic says these are still field tests. They say so, the invites say so... let's just take that at face value. If they are still testing, what are they testing? I can't imagine it's Mewtwo itself, as it is unchanged since EX raids began. The only thing that's changed about the raid mechanics is the timer (now down to 45 minutes, as with raids of all levels). There is varience in the day of the week and the time of day, but they're running awfully long in a field test period to still be working that out.The only significant change, especially noticeable the last couple weekends in many areas, is the apparent drop in invites going out per location.On the surface, this does actually make sense. How few folks can they invite and still have successful raid attempts? If they intend to release Mewtwo to more and more gyms, you have to figure each one will have fewer invites than the first few weeks of the EX field test period, when they were pulling in 30, 40+ people each at very limited numbers of locations. "Going wide" will mean fewer invites per location... it kind of has to.So it makes sense, to me at least, that they scale back the number of invites per location to see how that works out.That being said... something appears off in their system. When you have widespread reports of 2-4 invites per location, thus setting up 99% of those raids for failure, something has gone terribly wrong. And nobody wins... the raid groups are likely going to be insufficient and many people are still on the outside looking in.So I guess my question is... if limited groups are their test case right now, how low should they go?
