"You get softbanned from a gym if you click "leave" after knocking the first Pokemon out. Is this actually an intended "anti-shaving" feature or just a bug?"

#PokemonGO: Some people say this is an intended "anti-shaving" feature for those that use multiple accounts to shave one defender out, then place a Pokemon in the new vacant spot.Just think about it... there is only three cases I can come up with when someone would attack a gym then hit "leave" when knocking out the first Pokemon. They are shaving a Pokemon out for an alt account, or for a friend. Once they have already knocked a Pokemon out, they already accomplished their goal and softbanning them is pointless. If they were planning on shaving two spots out, they would have continued attacking and would have been indistinguishable from a legit player. It's a legit player that wants to change their team after taking out the first Pokemon (such as a large Blissey) to be able to better counter the remaining Pokemon in the gym. It's a legit player that hit the "leave" button by accident because it's immediately beneath the "Go" button. In all three cases, softbanning the player only hurts legit players and doesn't impact "shavers" in the slightest. :/ via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2Ae9IVW
