"All my points from 23—28, gone."

#PokemonGO: I don't cheat, doesn't make sense to me. I grind for everything. I was less than 400 points away from my next trainer level last night. Tonight went to clean up my inventory and realized I must be super close to hittng the level. In fact, maybe I'd missed it since I'd caught quite a bit tonight and got in a gym. First I check my points, um, I'm now 50,000 short. So I go to check my journal. Everything from the morning of December 23 through evening of the 28th is gone. I only caught a few Pokémon on the 25th and didn't start until evening of the 28th, but had heavy spins, wins, and catches on 23, 24, & 27. All gone. I think this affected the Pokémon I had caught too. Pretty sure I'm missing several and I don't seem to have the candy equal to them.Does this happen often?!
