"Egg Pool Devaluing Event Boxes"

#PokemonGO: On the face of it the Ultra Box is a fantastic deal - raid passes at the lowest they’ve ever been and super incubators for the price of normals plus lucky eggs and star pieces for free.However, the amount of garbage that has been left in the egg pool almost makes the incubators little more than a source of stardust. I’m not expecting to get a great hatch every time but the amount of useless mons that pop out of eggs is ridiculous. Even if it was useless Gen 3 hatches I wouldn’t be so bothered but so far my hatches are below 10% Gen 3.Maybe people will buy these boxes regardless but I think Niantic have really missed a trick here. We can now get lv35 wild spawns so lv20 hatches are barely worth powering up even if good IV and meta relevant. I think they should either make eggs hatch at a higher level or remove Gen 1 and 2 garbage from the egg pool. Either option here would have given people serious encouragement to purchase these boxes.I was planning to buy an ultra box but based on the low Gen 3 hatch rate I think an investment in raid passes at full price represents much better value. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2DwmAIU
