"Has the water biome composition shifted?"

#PokemonGO: It's been noted by now that weather spawns can 'take over' biome-specific spawn points. For instance, water-specific spawn points seem susceptible to influence from the weather. However, it seems that even within the water biome, leaving aside weather-induced spawns, that diversity has shifted. Perhaps the most striking example of this has been a dramatic increase in the number of Tentacool spawns, and clear decreases in the number of Poliwag, Slowpoke, Chinchou, and Goldeen.Has anyone else noticed this, or in the process of conducting more systematic research on biome composition shifts? I think the water biome is a particularly interesting case because no new water Pokemon have yet been introduced from Gen III. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2B0mpbY
