"Unpopular Opinion: RotomDex isn't that bad and a lot of people are blowing how annoying he is out of proportion"

I think a lot of people are really blowing how annoying RotomDex is out or proportion. There have been worse sidekick characters in gaming history and I don't think RD reaches top ten. Sure he repeats a lot of obvious tips but you aren't obligated to listen to them if you're a veteran player and they aren't longer than 10 or 15 seconds unless its one of the questions you can answer. Sure he blocks the minimap but you can just pull up Charizard ride to see where you are if that's the case since its the same thing just you can pick a fly location.Then there's the fact that he actually serves a purpose for people, like me, who tend to forget my party is at low health or if I haven't saved in a while. Plus Roto Loto activates a lot more often if you talk to him instead of waiting for him to get bored meaning more chances for the better Roto Boosts. On top of that he makes the game world feel a lot less dead since, unless you're doing Roto Loto or you reached a specific totem sticker goal, his talking doesn't launch into a whole cutscene. Its literally 15 seconds of dialouge you can tap and hold the touch screen to progress or ignore. Honestly, he brings more good to the game than bad and I really do think people exaggerate how irritating he is. So he asked you to save after you just did. Just tell him no thanks. It just sounds like people making Arceus sized mountains out of Diglett hills at this point.TL;DR: RotomDex isn't nearly as annoying as people are claiming he is and it sounds more like people are complaining for the sake of complaining at this point. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2iO3LvX
