"Uplifting story: Today me and 8 others helped a 4 year defeat and obtain Ho-Oh"
#PokemonGO: Happened about 15 minutes ago and this is a story I'll always remember:Met up with a group of people to do our usual raid routine, same things as usual. As we're walking to the last raid, we see a 4 year old kid and his dad talking about how there's a Ho-Oh raid but the kid knew he couldn't do it. That's when our raid leader, P spoke to the kid and his dad saying how we would all help out.Suddenly the kid was super excited and agreed, the dad did too. We all hop in and set up, at this point I should mention the kid was only trainer level 7. We finished the raid, and now on to the challenge. Out of our group only 3 of us caught Ho-Oh, to be expected. The kid waited because he wanted help learning how to catch it, and got it on his 4th throw.I've never seen a kid so happy and thankful before in my life, and it's times like this I'm really grateful we all get together to do this hobby. It's the memories that make Pokemon Go the best social game out there.TL;DR: Doing usual raids, met a 4 year old kid and help him get Ho-Oh. Made a 4 year olds year perfect due to one small act of inclusiveness; got reminded why I love this game.Edit: Grammar via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2jaxDD9
