"What do you think of the washed out colors on the Pokemon since Gen 6?"

This isn't the usual sprites vs models discussion, you can have your own opinion on animations and such, this is about coloring of the pokemon. Generation 6, besides going 3D, saw another large stylistic change, and that was to follow the Sugimori's drawings more closely for reference.This has however left a lot of pokemon with much more pale coloring. Here in this album you can see gifs which show the models with both their normal coloring and edited to have the same color scheme as old sprites.What do you think of this as a stylistic choice, would you prefer more vibrant colors to return?
