"Pokémon was caught by my friend, and then when they called me over, it was its evolved form but with exactly the same IV's and level"
#PokemonGO: Unfortunately, I don't have any video evidence for this as I don't generally record my gameplay unless I know I'm planning on demonstrating something, but I was flabbergasted and scratching my head as soon as it happened. My friend caught a Whismur with 15/14/15 IV's. Not a very common combination to say the least. They called me over to catch it as well and I was there within about a minute. When I got there, a Loudred (the evolved form of Whismur) popped up. I caught it, and lo and behold, it also had 15/14/15 IV's. They had exactly the same arc of the level bar as well, and we are the same level. We each then proceeded to run all around the block trying to get the Pokémon the other caught to come out, without luck. The Loudred popped up in exactly the same spot my friend said their Whismur popped up. I'm sure that I didn't accidentally evolve the Whismur because I had to actually throw balls to catch him, and I was excited because I didn't have a Loudred yet and remember selecting ultra balls to catch him. In my inventory, I can confirm that an ultra ball was used to catch him.The time span involved didn't cross any hour boundaries, and there was no weather change.Has anyone heard of anything like this happening before? I have no idea what could have caused this other than some incredibly improbable coincidence where their Whismur despawned in the space of a minute and was replaced by a Loudred with exactly the same IV's and level. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2DGFflE
